В 2000 году специалист доц. Профессор Басак Шекер начала свое образование в области стоматологии на стоматологическом факультете Университета Хаджеттепе, который расположен в столице Турции, Анкаре, которую она успешно окончила.

2008 год

В 2008 году она работала научным сотрудником на стоматологическом факультете Ближневосточного университета на кафедре пародонтологии на Северном Кипре и была одним из соучредителей в 2007 году.

2012 год

В 2012 году защитила докторскую диссертацию и получила звания «Кандидат наук и доктор наук» кафедры пародонтологии и «Специалист пародонтологии» Министерства здравоохранения Турецкой Республики.

2012 год

В 2012 году она работала доцентом стоматологического факультета кафедры пародонтологии Университета Эскишехир Османгази и принимала участие в этапе создания этого факультета. Она также была назначена в штат педагогического факультета, где она обеспечивала клиническое и формальное образование на уровне бакалавриата и магистратуры, которое она продолжает и по сей день.

2022 год

В 2022 году она стала доцентом, параллельно с клиническими и академическими исследованиями в университете, и с этого дня продолжает клинические исследования в клинике стоматологической эстетики и имплантологии Dentarma Turkey в Анталии.

Написала более 30 статей в авторитетных отечественных и зарубежных научных журналах, а также более 50 докладов на национальных и международных конгрессах.

Ее профессиональные интересы включают хирургию зубных имплантатов, хирургическое лечение периимплантита десен, заболевания и лечение десен, а также лазерное применение.

Она замужем за специалистом в области ортопедической стоматологии профессором, доктором. У них с Эмре Шекером есть сын и дочь.

Она говорит по-английски.
