How Many Days After Getting an Implant Are You Protected?

The healing process takes several weeks to months (typically 2-6 months) for the implant to fully integrate with the bone. While you are "protected" in the sense that the implant is stable enough after the first few days, full osseointegration takes time, and it’s important to follow your dentist’s instructions during this period to ensure long-term success.
